The last week of tomatoes is here! Still plenty of roots, greens, and brassicas to enjoy. Tomatoes may be gone but we have winter squash! Time to feed our bodies the nutrients we need in the winter. I would like to thank y’all for another great summer season. I seriously feel it was the best, most fun yet!

Hello all!  Just wanted to send a quick note to all our wonderful customers at some of our seasonal markets. The reality of a small farm is that we really do not know what the weather is going to be like if the ground is too wet, we try not to enter the field; if it has been too cold the harvest slows down, in fact in the winter we estimate crops grow in about half the time they do in the summer, this includes the  egg production from our hens. So in that regard we come back to markets when and if we have enough product that paticuliar week and that is how we do it, on a week to week basis from December – mid February, then we return(weather permiting) to all of our markets.  If you would like to get on our email ‘alert’ list for the market you attend we can let you know by the day before if we will be at your market; our email is info@tomaterofarm.com  you can also inquire by email which markets we do year round, thanks for your support!

We are selling pullet eggs at the market. Pullet eggs are from a hen that has just started to lay eggs, for those who don’t know, these eggs are highly sought after for there flavor and size.

Our T-Shirts are ready!  Handprinted by Lane and Adriana, you will see us wearing our sweatshirts and T-Shirts at the markets so if you are interested, just ask for one; we have them in all sizes. If you have a favorite Tee of your own we can also print our farm logo on it for you!  You may  call 831-334-2403, OR email harvest@tomaterofarm.com we will get back to you.
